Gardening Club

There are many active gardeners in the village and some beautiful gardens. Gardening on a mountain, facing NNE with between 6’ – 9’ of rain a year is not easy. The soil is poor, mainly peaty, acidic soil over boulder clay and is highly water retentive.

The Garden Club Christmas Fair will be held on Saturday, December 13th. We have already prepared hyacinths for sale and these should be flowering by Christmas. We will be preparing the frames for the Christmas wreaths at the November Garden Club and decorating them the Friday before the Fair in the Neuadd Goffa – please join us if you can.

There will be refreshments at the Christmas Fair and some stalls such as cake, jewellery and scarves. Any donations towards these stalls or to the raffle would be most welcome. If you wish to set up a stall contact Barbara (601099) or Ilona (600702). Cost of a stall will be £5 to go towards the Neuadd Refurbishment Fund.

Clwb Garddio

Nid yw garddio yn hawdd ar ochr mynydd mewn tir oedd yn arfer cael ei gloddio am fawn. Mae gwyntoedd cryf a rhwng 6 a 9 troedfeth o law hefyd yn cael effaith ar y planhigion.

Ffair Nadolig ar Sadwrn Rhagfyr 13eg. Bydd blodau a torchau nadolig ar werth, os am helpu galwch yn y Neuadd nos Wener cynt.

Bydd lluniaeth ac amryw stondinau ar y diwrnod, cost am werthu yw £5, cysylltwch gyda Barbara (601099) neu Ilona (600702). Elw i gronfa adnewyddu’r Neuadd Goffa.
