Mynydd Llandegai or Mynydd Llandygai?

The big question in the village at the moment is over the village name.  Many recent maps and official documents show Mynydd Llandygai but the majority of residents asked so far believe it should be Mynydd Llandegai - possibly the parish of Tegai.

To confuse matters further even road signs for the village differ.

Some favour Llandygai:

 Whereas the sign at bottom of St Anne’s hill tries not to offend anyone!
